The GED Hotline has sent proposals to the White House resulting from its attendance at the White House Special Commission Conference for the Educational Excellence of the Hispanic Community.  The great highlight of this conference was to look up and see a great Latino leader that I was looking for in Santo Domingo only two and half weeks earlier.  I went to the Embassy of the United States in Santo Domnigo looking for Ambassador Raul Yzaguirre.  Mr. Yzaguirre had not been confirmed at that time, but the Ambassador attended the White House Commission event and there he was.  We sat at the same table most of the day.
