ORDER THE PRACTICE TEST PROGRAM ON THE SERVICES PAGE
Who would know that joking around with a Haitian in Albany, New York would lead me to meeting hundreds of Haitians from around the world at the Organization of American States' Haitian Diaspora Forum from March 21-23 in Washington, D.C.? I thank my new, great friend Romel Viel for introducing me to Mr. Jean Ricot Dormeus who is Advisor to the Assistant Secretary General at the OAS. If it were not for the efforts of Elder Romel Viel and Mr. Dormeus, I would not have had the opportunity to attend this exceptional conference.

Recommendations. Tell Haitians that come to the United States to apply for scholarships, including applying online at the United Negro College Fund. Teach everyone, including teachers ways to prevent students from dropping out. We must save as many youth now in the schools that are functioning. Put the word out to others to get back into school as soon as it is possible to do so. Parent involvement is poor around the world and we must find out from leaders what can be done to promote greater parent involvement in the schools now and for years to come. Haitians are often bilingual and good students know a few or several languages. We should teach everyone both English and French, even if it is just a few words a day. There is no cost to do this. You do not need a medical center or school to do it. Just show that you care about everyone. All of the 10,000 NGO's should participate by getting the executive directors out there doing things with the people. You can reach hundreds of thousands of people easily and change lives with this outburst of kindness and thoughtfulness.

THE GLOBAL INITIATIVE
The idea started with Luis Montes-Brito of El Salvador. We must bring the Spanish GED to El Salvador and other countries now. We must bring the French GED to Haiti and the Dominican Republic for Haitians and bring it to other nations around the world. We must bring other educational programs to the poor to end world poverty by 2015. The GED Hotline has been selected by Ahmad "Armando" Quazi and his campaign called Celebrities Against Poverty. Armando speaks at conferences and meets with humanitarian leaders and major celebrities to secure their voices and messages for a better future.
The GED Hotline is going to form a committee soon that will advocate for GED testing in Spanish and French around the world.

HOPE FOR HAITII
New resources! New commitments!
I started my campaign with Renold Julien of the Konbit Neg Lakay in Spring Valley, New York. Haitians who have never met me or who know my work found out critical things. I have been closely connected with men that they know and respect. These men are William Ammons in Florida who worked for Governor Jeb Bush, Enero "Tony" Barros who works for Mayor Menino in Boston, Dr. Eno Mondesir of the Haitians United of Massachusetts, and President Leonel Fernandez of the Dominican Republic.
